Casa Isolani, period residences Piazza Maggiore
Casa Isolani is a charming Bed & Breakfast at the second floor of no. 1 Via D’Azeglio: to be in Piazza Maggiore and at the same time in the lively heart of this long and very old street, that reaches Porta San Mamolo. The rooms, which belong to the Cavazza Isolani family (one of the oldest in Bologna) have been perfectly restored with traces of ancient frescoes and refined details. The street is traffic free, in the centre of the shopping district. The singer Lucio Dalla lived for many years at no. 15, where the Foundation in his name is situated. Piazza Grande: one of his most beautiful songs.
